It's a very different picture the morning after the multiple fireworks displays of last night. Birds are calmly chirping away, and a lone kayaker makes her way across the middle of the lake.
Even as I write this brief post it's getting brighter by the second. By all indications (that means NOAA and Ann!) it should be a beautiful day, all day-no threat of rain.
I heard that, rather, I read that!! Did notice you were socked in this morning, but it will give way to sunshine later.

ReplyDeleteWe'll probably share a bottle of Schilling pale lager and think about maybe kayaking later. No picnic. Eating here is kind of a picnic anyway. We cook in the kitchen and eat on the dock. It's really, really hard livin' up here, I'm tellin' ya!
